tonal effects - try to separate toning effects from color effects
also most people composite better in b & w, so add hue/sat adj layer,
turn off sat. and check shapes
color - try to keep color adjustments on top, in case you need to change them

red windows - little shape layers filled w color

more trees

black fill

texture and tone on multiply

paper texture on multiply blend mode
just a book scanned in

book cover on screen mode - can make yourself by
making zerox with open lid and crumble up
